- Probabilities of Trading
There is only one reason to take a trade, period. You believe that the trade has a net positive expected value.... that means that over time the system will make money. Reality Check. It doesn't say that any given trade will be a winner... In fact over time it will have some percentage of profitable trades and some percentage of unprofitable trades.
Our expectations are based on probabilities and we expect that the total winnings for the winners will exceed the total losses from the unprofitable trades, netting you a profit. This is probability trading and this is the premise for the Advanced Trading Strategies.
The goal is to consistently produce trades that have a net positive anticipated profit/loss.
